When supermodel and talk show host Tyra Banks comes out of Rachael's elevator, the leggy star convinces her to turn the studio into a catwalk by strutting with her down the center aisle. "Come on, together!" Tyra says as she takes Rachael's hand. "Pose!"

Rachael laughs as she gives it a try and then walks with Tyra to the kitchen table, where she asks who she is dying to have on The Tyra Banks Show. "I would love Julia Roberts to come on," Tyra says. "I'm obsessed! ... I even had a red weave trying to look like her one time." While she awaits a visit from Julia, she's busy gearing up for her prom-themed episode, which airs tomorrow. "There's a lot of girls that can't afford prom with their parents losing their jobs," Tyra explains. "I actually give the whole audience prom dresses and shoes!"

Years ago at her own prom, Tyra admits that she got a little ahead of herself when the prom queen and king were announced. "I stepped forward toward the crown ... my date had to pull me back!" Tyra recalls about the moment she realized she hadn't won. "In hindsight I am so happy that I lost because I might be big-headed now in life. I think that really put me in check."

That levelheaded attitude comes into play when she mentors aspiring models on her other show, America's Next Top Model. The reality show, now in its 12th season, has people auditioning for Tyra all over the place. "I was in a Japanese restaurant with my mom the other night, and there was this woman and she just kept walking around and around and my mom was like, 'Is she trying to find the bathroom or is she doing an audition?'" Tyra says. "I'll be on the airplane, this has happened multiple times, and the flight attendants walk up and down the aisle - runway walking!" Ultimately, Tyra hopes the series inspires every woman to strut their stuff. "One of my platforms of my life is to expand what beautiful means," she says. "I show different colors, different face shapes ... what it does is it makes that girl at home look at Top Model and say, 'Wow. Tyra's saying that she's beautiful? That means I'm beautiful too!'"
