It's the day every little girl dreams about, but for dozens of couples in Texas, their fairytale wedding turned into a nightmare after Hurricane Ike swept through Texas. When the storm finally cleared, the brides of Harris County were hit with another devastating blow -- the doors of their venues were chained shut as their wedding hall filed for bankruptcy after suffering damage during the hurricane.

With their locations lost and their money gone, the couples had nowhere to turn. "I just broke down," says Gabrelle. "It was over. Almost $12,000 was gone, we had pretty much no money left." Surrounded by wedding presents for a reception that never took place, Gabrelle helplessly watched as her wedding date passed. She was not alone in her disappointment. "I was just so sad," says 25-year-old Heather, who also lost her deposit. "I couldn't understand why this would have happened. Then after that I got mad. I got really mad."

But when Team Rachael Ray heard about the brides whose hopes were crushed, they jumped into action to pull off a wedding day miracle after Rachael called each bride with the news. The surprise continued at a town hall meeting with the buddies. "We at the Rachael Ray show are going to throw you all one huge wedding!" says Rachael, as the crowd erupts into cheers. "It's going to be everything you ever wanted and more. The dresses, the tuxes, the flowers, the food - we're going to take care of it all. Now we need a really big place, a place big enough for all of you and your guests. So how about the home of the Houston Astros?" The only catch? The wedding is in one week! The buddies get started and take the couples shopping for their perfect ensembles!
