Jeffrey Saad from Los Angeles, CA explains why it's so important for him to become The Next Food Network Star. "This competition is everything," he states, "because this is the rest of my life; this is what I'm going to do." Jeffrey is paired with Jamika Pessoa from Atlanta, GA, who warns not to underestimate her culinary skills. "I'm young and I'm silly and I'm stylish and I'm quirky," she declares, "but don't mistake that -- I can cook!"
