Rachael announces that the May edition of Every Day with Rachael Ray is the first ever "Big Deals" issue, with readers having the chance to win a variety of huge prizes. "It's a recession, people!" she exclaims. "Who's here to bring you the free stuff?" She then gives an audience member a sneak peek at the giveaway fun by inviting her to play a game called "More or Less?" After correctly guessing whether an array of products are more or less than their indicated prices, the audience member (and the entire audience) win them all!
