Despite her small kitchen, Peggy demonstrates how she's learned to maximize her space using these tips:

Stick with the basics. You can still cook a gourmet meal on portable appliances. If you've got a hot plate, a toaster oven and an electric grill, you're good to go.

Be creative when it comes to storage. Peggy uses walls and every nook and cranny she can find, including using her bookcase as a pantry.

Have double vision. "There's nowhere I could put fancy salad bowls," Peggy says, "so I just use the same bowl for everything."
