Many women like to add a little spark to their wardrobe with a necklace or a bracelet, but there's accessorizing, and then there's excessorizing! Anne, 48, rarely leaves the house without decking herself out with up to 40 pieces of jewelry. "I actually feel naked if I don't wear them," she says about the many necklaces, bracelets, earrings and anklets that weigh her down every day. Anne's husband calls her a "walking jewelry store," and has even thought about wearing a helmet to bed to protect himself from his wife's thrashing bejeweled arms. Can Gretta perform an accessories intervention and get Anne to "lighten up" a bit?

"If you see all that jewelry before you see a woman's beauty, then it's too much," Gretta advises. "Accessories are meant to enhance, not hijack your look." Anne's husband agrees. "She's beautiful already," he says, "and you don't need to wear so much jewelry to be beautiful." After Gretta works her magic, everyone is able to see more of Anne's beauty when she appears "madeunder" with less than half a dozen pieces of jewelry!

Gretta explains how she planned Anne's new look. "Cut the body in half; the upper is always necklaces and earrings and an easy simple rule of thumb is to pick one statement piece." Gretta picks a bold necklace for Anne, so she pairs back all the big earrings Anne normally wears in favor of small to medium pieces. "She's got a little bit of a fuller earring in front and small stud behind it -- that's enough."

"On the lower half," Gretta continues, "for arms and hands, same deal. We wanted to create a focal point with her beautiful engagement ring, so we left that hand alone and made it all about that. Then we put on a nice piece of jewelry on her wrist because she loves hearts, and a funky ring on her main finger because she likes statement rings."

How does Anne feel about her more "naked" look? "Right now I probably feel the best I've felt in quite a while," she beams.
