Oven Racks As Cooling Racks

If you don't have cooling racks, take out one of the oven racks you won't be using before preheating the oven. Then, when your cake is ready to come out of the oven you can place it on the oven rack to cool. Works better for cakes than cookies since the rungs are futher apart on an oven rack.
