Suggestion for Pealing Potatoes

- Maybe I'm not alone. I have cut myself with a vegetable peeler a few times while skinning my potatoes. After a few cooking badges of honor, I found spearing the potato with a fork help keep the fingers safe.

Leave the skins on like Rach does!

Always peal AWAY from you - saves fingers etc. - if you use a pealer or knife. It is not a contest for "speed". Take your time with using sharp impliments.

I leave the skins on. Thats where the vitamins are.

Of course you can leave the peel on because it is very healthy. But the safest way to peel is to use a peeler and peel away from your hand.
