Did anyone see Rachael on Martha today? Rachael was adorable - Martha was a bit nicer to Rachael than when she was on her show - although she did have to insult her yet again... Did you catch the whole slap on Rach's made up names... she claimed she would not want to hang with Rachael because she would start using all those slangs *slap* then when Rachael called the leaves 'dudes' Martha said - if I ever call my pastry dudes - lock up my mouth!!! *slap*

From what I hear about Martha's poor staff... they would probably happy to LOCK UP HER MOUTH!!! lol

I saw Martha on Rachel. I thought Martha was very condescending to Rachel. She also wanted to always throw out the fact that she was RICH, by making it know that she had, a driver, a this, a that...yada yada yada.

My only comment on the whole issue is that Rachel was definitely more hospitable to Martha when she was on her show than Martha was to Rachel when she was her show. To say "if I start to call my pastry crust 'little dudes' will someone please sew my lips shut" was a real insult. Also, the other insult was to come back from commercial and let the audience know "if you didn't catch it, you will all going home with a copy of Rachel's book," after Rachel had already left the set. Overall, Rachel's show with Martha rocked, Martha's show with Rachel was pitiful.

also when rachael asked martha what the first thing she baked was,sshe just changed the subject and never even answered her.i think that was rude.it also bothered me when she said "if i ever call my pastries "dudes",sew up my mouth."that was also really rude.

marthas just down right rude! i dont know why rachael would even go on her show & the other way around. i guess to let all the rumours go about them feuding. that it was just rumours. i think that should be the last time they should be on each others shows. i wouldnt wanna do that again! EVER! rachael is def. more of a sweeter & nicer person then martha!

I'm sure alot of this had to do with the producers of their shows I knew Rachael would be the one to come off great in this whole deal. Martha also made fun of Rachael's sayings, well guess who has the higher ratings??? Martha would do well to remember that it's Rachael's freindliness and great personality that wins people over every time. Rachael as usual handled all of this stuff with her usual grace and style, you can't teach it and Martha just doesn't have it, Congrats Rach as usual you were fabulous.

Thank you for stating what we all feel about the show. I do not want to criticize Martha. She has her audience, consisting of convicted felons, inmates, and K-Mart shoppers who adore her. She has paid her debt to society, as have many of her fans. We are here to sing Rachael Ray's praises for yet another awesome show.
Rachael, you represent all that is good in America. Thank you for that, and thank you for not allowing Martha's obsolescence and cheap shots drag you down!

Io be fair I thought Martha's sew my lips shut line was funny Although I love Rachel I think she'd lose a battle of wit with Martha but it would give Rachal a chance to use any Alderson jokes she may have

Martha is so full of herself and really Rach has everything over on her. Did anybody else seem to notice how Martha took pride in her prision sentence in a way. Just shows you how stuck on herself she is.

i didn't watch the show and i haven't seen martha's show at all. maybe martha was nervous. sometimes when people get nervous they sometime might say little jokes to break the tension but really it just nervousness.

I just saw on Yahoo! that Martha takes jabs @ Rach in an interview, down to criticizing her "Book of 10", apparently AFTER they were on each other's shows! On Rach's show, Rachael went out of her way to promote everything under the sun that Martha has her hands in, and yet all Martha could say was, "you almost covered it all". Rachael got very little promotion on Martha's show, and Martha even found a way to promote one of her own books by so "generously" giving Rach one of her books. I enjoy both of these ladies as each one offers something the other doesn't, but Martha has a difficult time acting like a "lady" sometimes.

My comment is on Martha on Rachels show, watching GMA today they covered what Martha said about being on Rachels show saying that the things Rachel does is not good enough for her. I thought it was horrible of her to say after she was invited on the show and had her brand promoted.I think Rachel taking the high ground on Martha's rude comments just shows how much class Rachel has over Martha...sorry us commoners are not at Martha's level...I guess I will stick with the Rachel Rays of the world, and will think twice before buying Martha's products as I probably am not the kind of person she would want to buy her things.

My how far Martha has fallen. For someone who claims to have so much class...iI was shocked to hear her speak ill of RR. She is really wearing her insecurity on her sleeve. Rach you are so gracious and prove that you truly are the better person by not sinking to her level.

I was once a big fan of Martha...I for one will NEVER purchase anything from the Martha Stewart Omnimedia group ever again.

Rach you are an everyday woman and that is what we love about you!

I watch Rachael's show everday. But I missed Rachael on Martha's show and Martha on Rachael's show, because I can not stand Martha Stewart. I did here when she bashed Rachael on her GMA interview and I thought it showed her true colors. After all she chose career over her own family. She thinks she is better than everybody else. But I didn't write this to bash Martha, I wanted Rachael to know what a special caring heartfelt person she is. And for Rach to say what she said in response to Martha just shows what better class Rachael has than Martha. I would much rather sit at Rachael's table and cook her food with her gracious and loving spirit.

I DVR both Martha's and Rach's show everyday (among other shows). I FF when Martha has crafts and I FF when Rach has a lame segment. It's all about the food and cooking for me. That's all that counts.

Martha....what a piece of work....stood by her through her jail time, but not this one.
I am embarrased for her behavior....
Rachael...your recipes are great and a fancy table does not mean good food.

I don't care about a fancy table either. It's all about the food and Martha has some great recipes. I like to use many different recipes from many sources.
