Poll: Middle school high-five ban. Is this going too far?

After a student was injured in a "groin-kicking" incident, a Connecticut middle school banned all physical contact between students, including high-fives, handshakes and hand-holding to cut down on horseplay. Is this going too far?

i think makeing other suffer becaue others dong is wrong. The Jr and high school where i livein alpena,mi is doing something very simular no hand hold and no huging your friends and so on i think this is all out of hand. They should punish the ones doing wrong not everyone.

Boy, our society has turned into an all or nothing society. I love the way 1 person can ruin it for everyone else. I think that's out of control. Punish the abusers, leave the rest alone. If for some reason groin kicking becomes a problem, then I suggest banning the groin kicking (which should be banned to begin with)...how does hugging and high fives have anything to do with a groin kick? I'm pretty sure someone's "manhood" wasn't destroyed do to a really aggressive "high five". Good grief.

I can't believe the way things are these days. This world is slowly killing themselves little by little. Parents aught to ban together to fight but they can't because they have to work and make the money. I am so disappointed and yet alittle optomistic because of our new president. He is really putting his foot down.
