I was wondering, you say you're a firm believer in moisturizers. What is your favorite?
- Debbie from Newtown, PA
I do love the lotions and potions! For a drug-store brand, I like Olay - they have some great products. And for a specialty store brand I use Amore Pacific cleanser, toner and moisturizer. "
I was just wondering if your cast-iron cookware can be used on an electric ceramic stove top oven?
- Jeannette from East Meadow, NY
Sure!"
Hello Rachael, I do not care for arugula. What would be a good substitute? Would spinach work? Thank you!
- Jennifer from Indianapolis, IN
Sure, spinach would work or any baby green. "
Rachel, I understand you have taken up running, I have just broke down and started running also. The reason to decide to start running is because over the past couple of years I have put on some weight and can't seem to lose it. I have always been active so my normal routine of hiking and walking wasn't working anymore. How do you motivate yourself to run?
- Dawn from Sunnyvale, CA
Good for you! You have to change your mindset. I used to think of running as a chore. Now i think of it the way a little kid thinks of recess! The first few months were miserable, but then your body literally gets used to it and you end up feeling weird if you even take one day off!"
Hello, not counting salt & pepper. What are the top five spices one should always have handy?
- Howard D. from Columbus, OH
It depends what kind of food you like to cook! If you are a fan of Tex/Mex, you'll want cumin, coriander, and chili powder. If you like Mediterranean foods, then you'll need fried oregano, thyme and rosemary in your cabinet. I suggest reading through your favorite recipes to see the common spices, and that's how you can build your spice rack."
I wanted to know what lipstick/lip gloss rach wears on the show? Love it!
- Christy from Greenwood, SC
I wear many different brands. In my personal makeup bag, I have Revlon and Georgio Armani lipsticks and glosses. At work, our makeup artist Kim White mixes up a bunch of shades and uses a variety of brands, the most recent one is called Grandma by OCC Cosmetics."
